COREP Extension Taxonomies

arrow Introduction: As part of the adoption of the COREP framework across Europe, some countries have finished developing their national extension taxonomies , while other countries are still in the process. To support the adoption process, a number of countries have accepted the invitation to provide links to their national extensions.

By virtue of the process being both collaborative and iterative, it is expected that a number of national extension taxonomies will be published initially in draft form. Therefore it is important to check back to this site for the most up to date versions.

As of 5th February 2007, this is the situation in relation to the publishing of these extensions:

arrowFinland published version 1.0 of its COREP Extension Taxonomy based on
COREP Taxonomy version 1.2.1 in December 2006:
Link: Finnish COREP Taxonomy version 1.0.

4 different taxonomies are available for credit institutions (solo and consolidated) and for investment firms (solo and consolidated). A new release will be published in the upcoming weeks to eliminate the inherited bugs of COREP Taxonomy version 1.2.1.

arrowFrance published its final version of COREP Extension Taxonomy (version 1.0) on the 5th of February 2007, including test instances and some information documents (in French).

You can find the extension taxonomy on the following website:
http://www.banque-france.fr/fr/supervi/supervi_banc/reporting/corep.htm.

arrowGermany published version 1.0 of the COREP Extension Taxonomy based on
COREP Taxonomy version 1.2.2 in January 2007.

The final version of the German extension taxonomies as well as a data matrix and documentation on instance creation (in German) can be downloaded from the following website:

arrowSpain has published a draft version of its COREP Extension Taxonomy on the following website:
